A lot of endings and new beginnings. I can feel it. The vibe don't lie.
From the Mets having their skipper retire and hiring a new manager to a lot of folks in my inner circle finding new love, there's a lot of endings happening and new beginnings starting. It's a good time to be alive.
I recently made a decision to end a project I've been working on for awhile. After 2 1/2 years and 100 episodes, it was time. My co-host and I had started a radio show and podcast not knowing where it would go, and we built a substantial library of self-growth episodes. I call it an audio textbook for life. We were transparent using the show to talk about things we were going through and experiencing and the lessons learned along the way.
We covered so many different topics. From hitting bottom to asking for help, from control to letting go, from loneliness to finding love again, from sensitivity to confrontation, from feeling lost to being inspired, we talked about it all. Anything that related to stepping outside the comfort zone and growing as a human being. We were honest, vulnerable and real. We definitely kept it real.
But, as with all things, it's time to end the show. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn a new craft, and I'm glad after years away from my college radio days I was able to get back to the mic and talk to the world. Thank you universe.
Once I made the decision to end the show, I felt relieved and a lot of peace. My intuition had been guiding me towards closing the door so that a new opportunity could arrive. I'm excited what the future holds for me. I'm going to take the rest of the year off from being on the air, but I'll still be at the station producing and engineering other shows. I may start my own show. My soul will light the way.
Thanks for listening, and I'll catch you on the flip side.
